"Ferguson’s was very excited to be a sponsor for the 2009 PCAHBA Showcase. It is a well run and organized event which allows our business to partner with builders and other trades to help promote our companies and products while at the same time promoting the beautiful Park City area. There is no better way to showcase some of the most beautiful and well built homes in the country and the innovative features that go into these homes. We were so pleased with the 2009 event that we are committed to being a sponsor again for the 2010 PCAHBA." - Kirk Morgan, Ferguson Enterprises

"Networking with the PCAHBA members for the last two years has been the best opportunity I have had to meet great people who care about our industry. I have made so many friends thanks to this organization." - Steve Norr, Pepper Tree Kitchen & Bath

"The reason I have been a member of the PCAHBA for the last 3 years is for the great people it attracts. The members of the association are so warm and friendly!" - Julie Huot, J2 Design Group

"I have been a member for several years. In addition to many great friendships, it has been great to network with professionals who love the community and building industry and have a great desire to improve it." - Angela Newbold, Bedrock Quartz & Granite

"Being a PCAHBA member benefits our business by putting us in touch with other professionals - sharing business leads and opportunities. It keeps us informed on current building trends and issues, education, great networking functions and opportunities to visit other businesses." - Steve Olsen, Foremost Interiors

"We are new builders in the Park City area, and participation in the 2009 Showcase of Homes was an opportunity to introduce our building philosophy  to the community.  We were able to gather leads for potential new suppliers  and meet other builders in the community .  Most importantly, we were able to gather leads for future clients, and are currently working on a job in Charleston as a result.  We  plan on participating in future Park City Showcases, including the upcoming 2010 show." - Norm Provan, Promark Development

"When we joined the Park City Home Builder’s Association, we were already doing some work with contractors, but we really wanted to do more.  Obviously the ability to network with contractors is a big part of being an associate member.  By showing up at meetings, joining committees, and generally getting involved we’ve made some excellent contacts that have helped us to grow our business over the past few years.  On both sides, there’s a level of trust involved in doing business with someone you see in a social context once a month that generally makes working with fellow members a very positive experience. But that’s only part of it.  The educational component is also very important.  Many subcontractors need to maintain a contractor’s license and being a member of the HBA makes getting the credits easy, and you never know what you might learn.  It might be about some fascinating new green building material or it might be the definition of the term “concrete slump”!  And we all know that being a subcontractor can be a lonely business at times.  You spend your time, out there in limbo-land between the homeowner and the contractor, hoping one of them is going to pay your bill, stomping around freezing cold, muddy, snowy construction sites, tape measure and clipboard in hand. It can be nice to recognize a friendly face out there and to share our experiences on the various projects we are all working on." - Amanda Trickett, Closet Factory

"The experience that I have had with the PCAHBA has been very rewarding for me.  The friendships that I have gained with my fellow contractors and the staff alone has been worth joining.  However,  being involved with the Showcase of homes brought my attitude toward the organization to a new level and has exceeded all of my expectations.  Opening our home to the masses during the showcase was intimidating at first but turned out to be a positive and rewarding experience.  The exposure and response from the community was a great pat on the back personally and has done well for Blackdog Builders. I am also very thrilled to be involved with  Build Green Utah.  I believe that this path is our only path to the future in building and am excited to take an active role in learning to become a contractor with a lower impact on our environment and a safer place for our community to live. Thanks for the camaraderie and the warm welcome to the organization." - Todd Evans, Blackdog Builders

"The reason why I am a member of the PCAHBA is because I believe in all the networking opportunities and the power of working together versus individually to improve our business." - Jill Jessen, Homes Today Utah Edition

"This is an excellent organization for Associate Members to network with potential clients." - Paul Ballif, RJ Enterprises

"I'm very pleased with the strength and commitment the local and NAHB have put forth to promote industries interest and goodwill of the public." - Paul de Groot, Paul de Groot Building Services

"Being a member is good for the organization as well as personally. We are a great group of members and the networking alone is worth the price of joining." - Joe Rametta, Rametta & Company

"In the history of my business as a general contractor and custom homebuilder, no single marketing activity has had a greater impact upon my business than the Showcase of Homes.  In some areas known as the Parade of Homes, among other terms, the Showcase is an event geared toward displaying the talents of not only the homebuilder, but of all facets of the design, build and decorating teams involved in the project.  After participating in eight different Showcase events, I have come to realize the true benefit and potential of the event. The exposure to new and qualified clientele is unequalled.  I have benefited, on average, from two to three new projects per year directly tied to my participation in the Showcase.  In fact, virtually all of my clients are familiar with and have seen my product on display during the Showcase, even if that was not the trigger for their decision to hire me.  The residual benefits of that level of exposure continue for many years after the Showcase in the form of referrals and job prospects. I highly recommend participation in this event to any builder, supplier, designer or realtor who desires to grow their business and make sales.  The value of marketing exposure cannot be duplicated in any other media and, in fact, in almost no other form of advertising do you actually get to interact with your potential clients.  The Showcase is a fantastic vehicle for bringing business, literally, right to your door." - Mike Mercer, Aerie Construction
